One Week with the Thai people

So it have been a week that i have been here and it been the most amazing experience. All most un- believable to me that i am here, working with one of the best missionary in the world. De has been amazing. In answering all my question and teaching me Thai as much as i could remember. I say that i am understanding it better and better. It is not a unknown langauge to me. I love hearing it now. It is weird now for me every night to hear English more. De has taught me a lot about the field. It is like being a pastor and missionary at the same time. She does so much in this Thai town that i dont think that her shoes can ever be filled by anyone. Other thing that i found out that is different then i thought before i came here was that your team is important to understand each other and have fun with each other because not having one you feel lost, but if you have a team with you, everyone is going through the same thing that you are going through or went through. De is a good example of this because as new people come around she is the one that helps them understand Thai food, place, and people till they can finish language school. She really has helped me understand what i am going to be doing on the field. Because it is not all standing on a street counter and preaching.. it is getting to knew the culture and understand what they need. Also this help from relationship with people that you might need to use in the future. She made close friend with pastor in the area that work with her, but relationship with the locate people around the office area is something that she has a A plus on. There is so much you can say about this field but De is the one that understand the in;s and out;s she is amazing. Being here for 7 years she is really a Thai people just like Hudson Taylor. Passion is what she has and passion is something that she has for kids and kids program, and through her passion my passion is growing for what i really want to do. De has shown me relationship, but also that a relationship with someone that might be your life parent is something that you dont have to have. We talked about relationships today on the field but off the field, and you know if i dont have someone to be with when i get on the field you know i am ok with that because God has a plan. Deanna said that her mother told her that if God wants you to have someone he will bring you one, but it is his timing.. De has became a great friend and i cant wait to work with her this next months before i leave...
